MARIJUANA SHOULD BE LEGALIZED, REGULATED
Reading about the health benefits attributed to smoking marijuana, I
think it is time we considered legalizing it, regulating it and taxing it.
Check out the benefits by going to Wikipedia and searching for
marijuana. You can find an abundance of information which many of my
contemporaries have read. Many are now in favor of legalization since
Medicare seems to be headed for funding problems down the road.
THC, an ingredient found in marijuana, prevents the formation of
deposits that causes Alzheimer's. In addition, a study involving
2,240 people resulted in a conclusion that smoking marijuana does not
increase incidences of lung cancer.
Some even advocate legalizing all drugs to eliminate the need to
fight the war on drugs, which many say we are losing.
