SUPPLY FILLS DEMAND

The 18th Amendment did not work. Prohibition (stopping supply) as
policy is stupid and counter-productive to a free society. It is
impossible to defeat a black market by stopping supply. It won't
happen, gangsters will assure alcohol, drugs, diamonds, Al Gore type
massages, whatever is demanded will be supplied. The sordid historical
record of prohibition probably explains why 46 percent of Americans
today favor legalization of Marijuana.

The war on drugs is just one of many multi-billion dollar failed
socialist ideas we live with today. This war has ruined thousands of
lives and sent fortunes to killer gangs such as seen today in Mexico.
Why enrich a despicable criminal industry and imprison nonviolent pot
smokers and growers when there are so many violent criminals released
to society due to prison overcrowding?

The war on drugs is a war on our freedom of choice. We need to
eliminate the victimless crime laws and stop the government from
further infringing on personal freedoms guaranteed by our Founding
Fathers.
