IGNORANT MARIJUANA PROHIBITION
Dear Editor of the Lumberjack,
Not many things point out the ignorance of cannabis ( marijuana )
prohibition quite like the federal government's Schedule system. As
Nicholas Preciado pointed out ( Proposition 19: Possible Permissible
Pot, Oct. 27, 2010 ), cannabis is a Schedule I substance, along with
heroin, while meth and cocaine are only Schedule II substances. It's
no wonder citizens across the U.S. ignore the government's cannabis message.
