MARIJUANA IS LOT CHEAPER IN MEXICO THAN MAUI
Two articles ( The Maui News, Oct. 19 ) involved drug busts. One on
Maui netted 0.6 ounces of processed marijuana ( among other drugs )
valued at $364. The other bust in Mexico netted 105 tons of marijuana
valued at $340 million. These street values compute to $9,707 per
pound for Maui and $162 per pound for Mexico.
It's obvious to me that those who are so intent on legalizing pot on
Maui should move to Mexico where they'll get 60 times more bang for
their buck. How easy.
