FOCUS ON REAL CRIME, NOT MARIJUANA

Without adequate funding, and without the help and cooperation of the
general population, law enforcement is severely crippled. Our county
district attorney, by going after medical marijuana dispensaries - who
I can assure you have been doing everything they can to be transparent
and to follow the laws as written - is crippling our local law
enforcement in two ways. First, he is draining the budget and
diverting limited resources from real crime, while at the same time
driving a wedge between his office and the people he is supposed to be
serving. When is he going to get it that people don't really care
about cannabis users anymore, at least in comparison to cokeheads,
cranksters and gangsters.

There is so much real crime out there. Can't we all just focus on
that, and, like President Barack Obama recently instructed his
attorney general, leave the marijuana advocates alone?
