Michael VonCannon's assertion that choosing to legalize cannabis
(marijuana) is "evil, (and) the judgment of God will soon follow"
(Mailbag, "Let's not choose evil, pot," May 14, 2010) couldn't be
further from Biblical truth.

In fact, one reason to end the sinful practice of caging humans for
using the plant that doesn't get mentioned is because it is
biblically correct since Christ God Our Father, the Ecologician,
indicates he created all the seed-bearing plants, saying they are all
good, on literally the very first page (Genesis 1:11-12 and 29-30).
The only biblical restriction placed on cannabis is that it is to be
accepted with thankfulness (see 1 Timothy 4:1-5).

A sane or moral reason to continue cannabis prohibition doesn't exist.

The list of reasons to RE-legalize cannabis is growing faster than
the plant itself.
