Elmore LINKING DRUG TEST, PUBLIC AID NOT STUPID I would like to reply to your "stupid" house bill column in the March 15 State Journal-Register (reprinted from The Boiler Room blog on sj-r.com). Several million people in this state go to work every day to earn an honest living and are subjected to random drug testing. Why would you object to anyone on public assistance being required to take a drug test? I say, fail the drug test and you are off any form of assistance. Yes, this will save the state millions of dollars and encourage people to get off drugs and get a job. Yes, I'm one of the employees who goes to work every day and am subject to random drug testing. Yet I'm paying thousands of dollars in taxes to support public assistance. Am I missing anything here? Robert G. Elmore Farmersville - --- MAP posted-by: Jo-D
