JAFFER'S HYPOCRISY ON DISPLAY

Re: Ex-MP Gets 'A Break,' Judge Says, March 10.

The reason people are upset about the Rahim Jaffer case is not so much
because of preferential treatment, but because of his blatant hypocrisy.

When Mr. Jaffer was a Conservative MP, he ran one of the most vocal
anti-drug election campaigns, promising "drug-free schools" and to get
tough with drug dealers.

So it's understandable that people are outraged; he was found in
possession of cocaine (we'll never know if it was one gram or one pound).

We've seen people's shock and dismay at the hypocrisy of American
anti-gay politicians caught in homosexual affairs, and that disgust
extends to anti-drug politicians found with illegal drugs.

Rahim Jaffer is a Conservative hypocrite caught in the act, and that
is why so many are upset about what happened.
