LIES ARE WIDESPREAD ABOUT CANNABIS USE

In regard to the Dec. 9 letter from Rade Kovacevic, Cannabis Use Must
Be Looked At From A Broad Prospective, he said: "We as a community do
not look at these issues from a broad enough viewpoint." That is
because we, as a community, believe liars.

When it comes to marijuana, police, government, churches, and most
so-called experts in the addiction racket simply lie. They know that
the large majority of people will never read past the headlines, or
cross-reference information, or bother to look anything up on Google,
so they just lie. They know that if they say marijuana is bad and
prohibition is good over and over again, the public will simply buy
it. Why wouldn't they? They have been buying these lies fore over 100
years. Today, the truth is available 24/7 online, and people still
think pot is evil.

The media is the problem. I expect nothing but lies and fear-mongering
and exaggerations from police and politicians, but journalists and
editors are supposed to dig deeper and give us the truth, not
regurgitate whatever they are fed by their friends in the police force.
