BERTRAM CLARIFIES EXPERIENCE WITH ISSUES
Thank you for your coverage of two important issues currently facing
our community: medical cannabis and civil unions. Unfortunately,
there has been some misinformation regarding my personal life
published regarding my experience with these two issues.
To clarify:
I do not currently use medical cannabis as the reasons for my usage
have cleared up.
Although I caregive for a medical cannabis user, his usage has also
ended successfully.
While I continue to support a good friend who is disabled through the
reciprocal beneficiary program, I have no intention of entering into
a civil union with anyone as that is against my spiritual beliefs,
which also proscribe meat and alcohol and any other recreational drug.
I hope this clarifies my personal experience with these issues.
