Police are appealing to members of the public to continue tipping them off
about possible drug offences.

The appeal comes after police recovered a quantity of drugs in a series of
incidents recently. Last Saturday staff at the Danebury Hotel picked up a
wallet lying on the floor and handed it into police when it was found to
contain cannabis resin.

A large amount of white powder was sent off for forensic analysis after it
was recovered at an Andover house.

A 45-year-old man was arrested after he was found in possession of
cannabis in the Stockbridge area on Saturday, and another person was found
in possession of a bag of herbal cannabis.

A police spokesman said: "We would ask anyone who has information about
people involved in supplying to contact us.

"People addicted to drugs commit low level crime to feed their addiction,
which has an impact on all members of the community, and we need the
support of the community to identify those involved."
