BEGIN THE HARVEST

Aloha. Let the first peaceful harvest of cannabis begin.

Let's preserve the right as adults to legally harvest our cannabis
crops of 24 plants or less in private, as it is now the "lowest law
enforcement priority." Let's have a moratorium on helicopter
surveillance and marijuana eradication over private homes to
accomplish this goal. Those who become a test case of the new law
deserve the support of at least 53 percent of us who voted for it to
fight for their freedom.

Let's ask our visitors to please "take a hike" instead of a
helicopter ride. It's hard to tell one intrusive, noisy, polluting,
peeping-tom helicopter from another. I ask that visitors experience
this beautiful island from a greener, more respectful point of view
- -- from the ground. Let's have a moratorium on helicopter tourism and
listen to the silence for a change. We deserve the right to control
our peaceful destiny as we see fit.

Ballot Question 1, Project Peaceful Sky, Hawaii County Ordinance
08-181, all describe our brand new law, a "covenant of peace" made,
among other things, to protect rural people from the "beasts that
have made them their prey," as the Bible says.

Our new law has officially broken the yoke of prohibition's long,
cruel bondage. Blessed are those who obey the law; they now have the
right to the "tree of life."

Let the first peaceful harvest of cannabis legally begin.
