BUDGETARY MARIJUANA

Seems like every week or so I read about the millions of dollars of
marijuana seized by CAMP - the Campaign Against Marijuana Planting.
And, of course, we read daily about the budget woes of California and
how the problem has not been solved but merely pushed into the next
fiscal year.

Since medical marijuana is legal in California, why not have CAMP sell
the seized marijuana to medical marijuana patients to raise money for
the state rather than destroying the crops by burning them up? The
state could sell it to already established state-regulated medical
marijuana dispensaries in most of the counties in the state, or - if
it wanted to be bold - CAMP could help set up additional legal,
regulated state of California medical marijuana dispensaries. Worth a
try!
