ALL DRUGS SHOULD BE LEGALIZED

Dear editor,

The July 21 article Don't fear the reefer said, "Bill C-15 would
impose mandatory minimum sentences on smaller-scale drug traffickers,
distributors and producers, meaning anyone producing between one and
200 plants may face up to six months in prison. Anyone convicted of
possession of cannabis for the purpose of trafficking may be subject
to one-year imprisonment."

I'd like to make a small correction to this. Bill C-15 was amended to
five to 200 plants from the original one to 200 plants. It is still
regressive crap! Just imagine what it would be like if the
neo-conservatives had a majority in parliament.

All drugs should be legal and regulated. See the Law Enforcement
Against Prohibition website at www.leap.cc
