BOARD TO CONSIDER IDENTIFICATION CARDS

San Bernardino County supervisors will consider approval today of a
program to issue identification cards to medical marijuana patients.

The county's public health department would charge Medi-Cal patients
$83 and non-Medi-Cal patients $166 for the cards. Last month, the
county announced that it would begin providing the cards after its
legal challenge to the state program failed.

The board also will consider placing a temporary moratorium on medical
marijuana dispensaries while the county's land use services department
drafts rules for them.

The meeting begins at 10 a.m. at 385 N. Arrowhead Ave. in San
Bernardino.
