SMOKING POT HELPS

Dear Editor:

Re: your online story, "Singer clears the air"

The story states that, "(J.D.) Fortune also said he has been clean for
the last two years and no longer uses drugs, with the exception of
marijuana."

This is smart, actually - take it from me. One really good way to
resist the urge to take hard drugs is to use marijuana.

Pot helps keep me from using the toxic and addictive pharmaceuticals
usually prescribed for people with my condition (fibromyalgia), so I
would know. Police will tell you that pot is a "gateway" to hard drug
use, but as we already know, the mere mention of marijuana makes
police incapable of telling the truth.
