THE LESSONS OF HISTORY

Ehor Boyanowsky is right. We can have prohibition of drugs, but
prohibition means we have to tolerate the violence that historically
goes with it. Alternatively, we can re-regulate the production,
distribution and consumption of drugs and redirect the resources
expended on policing to harm reduction, education and treatment. What
we can't have is prohibition without violence.
