DRUGS AND MEXICO

How about the new wall we're building between us and Mexico that isn't
working? The wall between Germany and Russia worked; the wall between
China and India worked. Evidently they built much better walls than we
do.

Transporting drugs from one place to another seems to be relatively
easy for determined, money-hungry people as long as there is someone
on the other side of the wall who is hungry for whatever drug he can
get.

Why don't we, as police of the world, go into Mexico (with the Mexican
president's blessing) and clean out the drug dealers and handlers and
the growing areas? This makes more sense to me than sending our
military thousands of miles away to a land of people who don't want
us.

Alaska, Canada, America and Mexico are all on the same side of the
continent, each touching the other. You don't know what country you're
in unless you see a sign. The border rangers don't have a chance of
stopping drugs from entering the U.S. There's not enough of them. It
will take U.S. military, the National Guard, FBI, Secret Service,
possibly OSI, along with Mexico to stop this drug problem.

I'm not crazy about a war on our continent; however, it can and may
happen in the near future.
