HEMP HAS MANY USES

Dear Editor,

Were I to write to Mayor Peter Fassbender, this is what I would
say:

"High," Pete,

I am very curious to learn what the City deems to be a hemp product,
and how I, as a concerned citizen, can give you a hand in getting rid
of every darn thing that contains that demon drug - or are there
bylaws that forbid me from purchasing any demon hemp soaps, ropes,
body sprays, etc., and bringing them to you so together we can finally
rid our community of all this stuff.

Mr.Caine [Store owner has 'leaf' to appeal, Oct. 28, Langley Advance]
will never be allowed to sell those products, and as soon as you give
me the go ahead, we will get on track shutting down all other stores
containing the demon drug.

Just think of all the fun you can have answering the mail from really
big competition, and explaining to our citizens the cost involved.

By the way, I do not think you are a Neanderthal by any means - maybe
just a local mayor coming up for re-election who just lost a major
part of his voters, considering they for the most part realize that
hemp, in one form or another, is used in a wide variety of items that
many major food and drug stores carry and would not know it unless
they looked at the fine print.

Think before you speak.

Anyway, it was nice seeing you at work. Now take the time to look
around your own household, specialty items that you or your wife have
picked up at local stores that don't spell their names in a manner
that causes you to be upset.

I am not a pot smoker.

Dale Campbell
