At 4 a.m., police went to Club 338 on Adelaide St. W. near Queen St. W. and Peter St. "Arrests were made and a number of charges were laid," Staff Sgt. Brown of 52 Division said. Police would not confirm how many have been arrested, only saying it is well over 20. Just after 8 a.m., police were spotted making another arrest. A man was handcuffed and carted away in a police cruiser. At the scene, police carried out cardboard boxes, plastic bags carrying $50 and $100 bills, as well as several computer towers. A large amount of drugs were also seized, police said. The search warrant was executed as part of an investigation into weapons, drugs and underage drinking.
