AN OPEN LETTER TO A FOUL-MOUTHED DRUG DEALER LOSER

This is the open letter to the guy who swore in front of my kids and
then 15 minutes later did a drug deal three feet away from them.

Dear loser who swore with kids around and then sold drugs out in the
open next to my kids last week:

You're a loser and karma is going to get you in the end.

Love, David Gough.

Here's the back-story.

We had to update our health cards at the government offices located
at Sarnia's Bayside Mall. While I was waiting (I was number 54. They
were serving number 17) my kids and I walked around to kill time.

This is when Loser Guyr came in. He walked three feet away from us,
picked up the public phone and made his call. His message was short
and to the point. "I'm at effing Bayside. Come and effing get here."

Oh, and one other thing. He was loud.

Since the phones are for job seekers looking for employment, I
thought maybe he was telling potential employers he was ready to
start working. Takes a lot of guts to use a government phone to set
up drug deals. Sigh, our tax money at work.

I gave him a dirty look, but Loser Guyr didn't notice because he was
focused on something else, and was oblivious that my kids were
literally three feet away.

I don't mind swearing. Heck, swear all you want, but it has a time
and a place. The time and place isn't in a government office at noon
with kids around, Loser Guyr.

If that had been the end of the story I would be cool with it, but
Loser Guyr being Loser Guyr had to top the cake just 15 minutes later.

We were in the mall deciding where we were going to go for lunch. I
saw Loser Guyr walking towards us. He quickly did a drug deal with
some teenagers just three feet away from my six-year-old daughter.

My kids didn't notice, but I did. I was so shocked I didn't know what
to say or do. I will give Loser Guyr credit, he was quick. The
transaction was over in two seconds.

Mr. Loser Guyr, if you want to deal drugs, hey, all the best for you.
But can you do me a favour? Can you deal drugs somewhere away from my
kids in a public place in broad daylight? Is that too much to ask?

Drug deals are dangerous. You always hear about drug deals going bad.
You never hear about drug deals going good.

Oh well, I guess I'm going to let the whole thing slide, although, I
do have to go to the mall again next week to do some business. Maybe
I'll see Loser Guyr walking with his baby mama and his kids.

I'll stop Loser Guyr and ask him for (fake) directions. I'll ask him
in a loud voice in front of his kids for the way to get to effing
criminal court.

I'm positive he's familiar with the place.
