LESSONS MUST BE LEARNED

A police officer is dead and now, nobody will pay the price. I just
hope we can all learn from the many mistakes made at seemingly every
level. The justice system itself is at fault here, from the way these
police raids are approved and carried out, all the way through to
prosecutors who somehow thought that first-degree murder charges
could actually stick.

We should also question our weapon possesion and drug laws, and
Parasiris's alleged disregard for both.

In short, there were enough screw-ups here to write a book about. For
the sake of Const. Tessier's memory, we can only hope that many
lessons will be learned.
