DRUG DEALERS, ASK YOURSELVES

Editor, Sir;

Haadaa Laas

I would just like to share my thoughts and feelings about what is
happening with drugs in our communities.

Drug Dealers, ask yourself

If I seen my little brother or little sister, niece, nephew, cousin,
about to be hit by a car, run over and killed and I had a chance to
save his or her life, I would do all in my power to save their
precious life.

We would all do the same as if one of our loved ones is about to
drown. I would do all in my power to save their life because I care
about them and love them.

So, ask yourself -What am I doing selling them or giving them
drugs?

Because that's what drugs do! They kill and destroy human lives, the
lives of our precious youth, our Haida Children, our families.

In the 1800s small pox took the lives of many of our precious Haida
people; today, it is drugs and alcohol. Today, we still have the
chance to become a healed and healthy Haida Nation that we are meant
to be.

Begin to work on whatever wounds we carry within.

All my precious Haadaa Laas! Dalang waadlwaan dii kuuyadang.
