READERS TOUT PRO-MARIJUANA MESSAGE

To the editor:

If Canadians cared about where their food or recreational substances
came from, they would stop drinking coffee. Coffee is one of the
biggest slave-driving and poverty-inducing industries in the history
of the world, but we love our Tim Hortons, don't we?

Junk food will kill many times more people than all illegal drugs
combined. Maybe we should crack down on McDonald's!

Brad Ridgway's letter suggests that everyone who sells pot is somehow
involved in "organized crime." What about compassion clubs and sick
people who share with other sick people? I suppose they are criminals
too?

What about the environmental and social damage done by the oil
industry? Or the cotton industry? Or Big Pharma?
