DRUG ACTIVITY OBVIOUS TO FED UP CITY RESIDENT

Editor, the Gazette:

I am losing faith in our police system.

I live on Allen Avenue and myself along with others have called the
police several times on our neighbors. It does not take a genius to
know it is a drug house. Different cars are in and out all day long.
We have even seen kids on bikes going in. The thing is, though, it's
always the same thing. One person gets out of the car while it is
running while the others stay in the car. The main person goes in for
a few minutes and then walks out. What do you think is going on?

We have several pictures of all of the cars, license plates, and
people going in and out. We also have a picture of a cop driving by
after we had called, but doing nothing - even though as soon as the
boys saw the cop, they jumped out of the car real quick and started
acting like they were looking at their car, like something was wrong
with it.

I want something done! I have an 11-year-old child who does not need
to see this, and there is also a school right across the street.

What needs to happen for something to be done about this? I know drug
activity can go on no matter where you live, but come on! We do not
live in a nice neighborhood to sit around and watch drug dealers get
away with whatever they want while the cops do nothing!
