FORMER POTTAWATTAMIE COUNTY ATTORNEY'S DRUG TRIAL OPENS

COUNCIL BLUFFS -- Jury selection began today in the trial of former Assistant Pottawattamie County Attorney Jeff TeKippe.

TeKippe, 46, is accused of checking out a bag of cocaine from the Council Bluffs Police Department's evidence locker, removing cocaine from it and replacing the drugs with flour.

He faces 12 charges, including felonious misconduct, possession of a controlled substance and theft.
