SEIZED POT COULD BE USED TO HELP PLANET

"Then God said, 'Behold, I have given you every plant yielding seed
that is on the surface of all the earth, and every tree which has
fruit yielding seed; it shall be food for you.'" Genesis 1:29.

The large quantities of hemp that federal officials confiscated this
summer in Nevada County could have been used to fund local
philanthropic causes or even help someone who honestly needs marijuana
for medical reasons. The buds could have been allowed to mature and
sold legitimately to a local buyers' club or pharmaceutical company.
The seeds could have been processed to yield the highest source of
protein and omega 3-6-9 fatty acids on earth and given to a local food
bank.

The leaves and cellulose could have been made into paper or sold to a
local bio-diesel/ethanol production facility. Making ethanol and
gasoline from cannabis hemp would further reduce carbon dioxide
emissions and help regenerate our suffering planet. The National
Renewable Energy Lab in Colorado, the Environmental Protection Agency
and the U.S. Department of Energy all have stated that, to help the
environment, we must produce bio-diesel and bio-ethanol
(hempevolution.org/ecology/ecology.htm#_ednref3).

Next year, let the DEA and local cops confiscate the hemp from the bad
guys as long as they make an effort to educate the public on its merits.
