OPERATION CRACK KILLS

Sheriff Has Public Support For Targeting Drug Dealers

Possession with intent to sell.

Possession with intent to sell.

Possession with intent to sell.

As you read down the list of nearly two dozen suspects and the
reasons they were arrested over a period of several days in
Immokalee, you start to see the pattern.

They were dealers.

Just think how many people are users.

That tells us the Collier County Sheriff's Office, which carried out
Operation Crack Kills, has its priorities straight.

A leading Immokalee citizen, Fred Thomas, agrees. He says Operation
Crack Kills made Immokalee a better place for law-abiding citizens.

The same, we're sure, goes for Everglades City, where the Sheriff's
Office rounded up nearly as many drug suspects last month.

The Sheriff's Office can count on public support when rooting out
crack cocaine and other drugs wherever they try to hide and do damage
in our area.
