FIX THE HUMANS

In response to Tony Howard ("Wrong priorities," Letters, June 19),
feral cats are the results of ignorant human beings.

First, drug use is a choice humans make. Second, teen pregnancy is a
choice they make. Been there, done that, told my 15-year-son all
about it. Guess what? He did it anyway.

Homelessness is also a choice, Granted, some of it isn't, but the few
who are homeless because of job loss, etc., you don't see standing on
a corner with a sign.

Feral cats are the result of ignorant humans. Should they suffer
because of us? No.

I don't know what the answer is, but putting them to death isn't it.
There will be more.

I'm tried of paying for drug-users to get clean, when half the time
it doesn't work, or teenagers giving birth because "everyone else is
doing it." It's a burden to our society as well.

Fix the humans, fix the problem.
