DOLE WANTS MORE MONEY TO FIGHT DRUG TRAFFICKING WASHINGTON - Drug task force offices in North Carolina could be turned into High Intensity Drug Trafficking Area (HIDTA) offices under a proposal from U.S. Sen. Elizabeth Dole, R-N.C. "No one can dispute that North Carolina has been hit hard by an increase in drug trafficking," said Dole in a letter to John P. Walters, Director of the Office of National Drug Policy.
