PROHIBITION GOOD FOR HEALTH

I can't believe Larry Campbell's simplistic views on
marijuana.

Production and distribution facilities are already in place, and there
are ready and willing customers. So who on earth will pay vastly
inflated prices for legal marijuana that is highly taxed?

Campbell shouldn't base his ideas on Hollywood's version of
prohibition. Yes, there was gang violence and fortunes were made, but
he is wrong to hang on to the mantra that prohibition didn't work.

Overall, alcoholism and associated public-health concerns were well
served by prohibition.

Marijuana doesn't deserve to be peddled as a potential cash cow for
the government.
