CRYSTAL METH SAID FOUND

Shelburne Police have uncovered evidence of the drug crystal methane, 
also known as crystal meth, in town.

Although details of the investigation aren't being divulged, a public 
information session about the devastating effects and the dangers it 
poses is being planned for later this month.

According to police, the drug is made from chemicals that are readily 
available at hardware stores and pharmacies. A meth lab can be set up 
in something as small as the trunk of a car.

Police warn that due to the volatility of the chemicals used in the 
production crystal meth, labs pose an extreme risk of fire or explosion.

Officers will be on hand during the information session discussing 
issues surrounding the effects of both crystal meth and marijuana 
grow houses and the effects these narcotics has on a community.

The public is invited to attend the session on June 29 in Grace 
Tipling Hall, Shelburne.
