DRUG CASE HAS AIR OF ABSURDITY

When one considers the historical origins of the current prohibition
on drugs there is no option other than to expose the putrid lies
underpinning the whole War On Drugs. As the early 20th century attempt
at prohibiting alcohol failed, so too is Prohibition II failing. And
precisely for the same reasons.

The greater harm to citizens comes from Prohibition rather than from
the drugs themselves. In its ardor to enforce policies based on a
corrupted and racially bigoted foundation, the government is
committing crimes against the very population it is empowered to serve.

The utter senselessness of the case against Greg Francisco is exposed
in the cost of prosecution, the loss of income to Francisco, the
subsequent loss to area stores of another cash customer, missed
collection of taxes, etc. -- compared to the alleged crime.

As I understand it, there is a past case of a person of authority
planting drugs in a student's locker. The quantity seized from
Francisco and the aberrant nature of local attitudes and behavior
concerning drugs and the corrupted exercise of law gives this case an
air of absurdity.
