Life on crystal meth begins with a glorious feeling of pleasure from the first hit. As you try to recreate that euphoric feeling by smoking, eating or injecting more each time, you soon find yourself in a new group of friends. You and your supermodel-thin pals are able to party all night long on the cheap high. Yet you're still able to function normally in your job or school. And soon you too are gaining the meth-using benefits of weight loss as you shed pounds without having to work out or diet. But that is just one side of crystal methamphetamine. That is the attractive and addictive side. Along with losing your love handles and saggy stomach, you lose your own attractiveness. Your teeth start to yellow and rot from your mouth. Your skin forms numerous scabs, which are caused by your new habit of picking at your skin until it bleeds. Your eyes, which dart back and forth in your head, are sunken with dark circles around them. All of this combined makes you look aged and worn out. And as you look around at your so-called friends and down at the drug, you realize that is all you have. You've lost your job, your money, your real friends, your family and your life. All of it for meth. - --- MAP posted-by: Derek
