The officer's name was not released because he has been working undercover, said Sgt. Gil Cerda, a Dallas police spokesman. The shooting occurred about 9 p.m. Thursday at a home in the 9700 block of Pine Hurst Lane in the Pleasant Grove area, Cerda said. Police arrested two people at the scene. Marcus Moss, 36, was charged with aggravated assault on a public servant and manufacture and delivery of a controlled substance. Both charges are first-degree felonies. "We believe he may have been the shooter," Cerda said. Also arrested was Sharon Edwards, age unavailable, for manufacture and delivery of a controlled substance, Cerda said. Police found nearly 5 grams of cocaine and a revolver at the home, Cerda said. Others at the home were questioned and released. Another officer fell during the arrests and hurt his ribs, Cerda said, but didn't go to a hospital. - --- MAP posted-by: Steve Heath
