TIME TO MODERNIZE OUTDATED MARIJUANA LAWS

Contrary To What the police would like people to think, and what The
Review thinks, marijuana growing is not inherently dangerous.

Orchid growers and other plant growers use the same equipment as
marijuana growers and we have yet to hear of the "scourge" of indoor cucumbers.

Health Canada licenses grow-ops for medical use in just about every
community in Canada. The federal government obviously doesn't share
the local police concerns.

Any danger from cannabis gardens comes from the acts of concealment
caused by the police ignoring real crime, in favour of easy garden duty.

Fact: The majority of Canadians want marijuana regulated like other
drugs, such as alcohol and tobacco.

The only strong voices against legalization come from police, who
will lose millions after legalization. The grow-op scare, like the
crystal meth scare, is more about propaganda than safety.
