DEPUTY'S SON SHOULDN'T GET SPECIAL TREATMENT

I read that Jonathan Lewis, son of Brevard County Sheriff's Office
Chief Deputy Mike Lewis, was not charged after being found with a
small amount of cocaine in his shoe and his father's personal handgun
under the seat.

He also refused to consent to a search of the vehicle after
Titusville police pulled him over and smelled marijuana coming from
the car. Marijuana was found.

Had this been your kid or mine, we'd be bailing him out and
contacting an attorney in preparation to go to court. Our tax dollars
at work -- those who are supposed to serve us seem to hold themselves
and their families above the law.

Charges should be filed or Sheriff Jack Parker and Deputy Lewis
should step down. This is a clear case of favoritism. Make it right,
Brevard County Sheriff's Office.
