FOLLOW THE LAW

Solano County Supervisor John Silva said his past profession as a
police officer makes him less inclined to support medicinal marijuana.

I urge the supervisors, especially John Silva, to realize enforcing
laws is an entirely different job responsibility then writing or
passing laws. The federal prohibition of ganja is unconstitutional, a
horrible religious and racial repression thinly veiled as public
safety. There is no excuse for a lawmaker to support that. Stop it.
Unjust laws must be changed, not promoted as traditional. If John
Silva is unable to comprehend this, perhaps he should resign.
Prohibition doesn't work at all, in fact it makes everyone unsafe.

I was watching, "Busted - the citizen's guide to surviving police
encounters," on YouTube with a couple of teens. I was appalled; both
kids believe the drug laws are fixed, unchangeable. Wow, what
ignorance! What are our children learning? To be politically powerless?

That is scary.
