NATIONAL PTA PRESIDENT TO VISIT

GREAT FALLS - The president of the national Parent Teachers 
Association plans to attend Montana's annual PTA convention, the 
state association announced.

The Montana PTA is scheduled to hold its 91st annual meeting Sept. 
15-17 in Missoula.

The attendance of President Anna Weselak is "kind of a coup for us," 
said Beth Verlanic, state PTA president.

The state organization counts nearly 8,000 members. This year, 
presenters tackle methamphetamine in Montana, how to be an involved 
parent and other issues, according to a news release.
