Tell that to the cop in Reno that died because the girl that pulled out in front of him was high on marijuana. "In addition, while marijuana is not harmless, its risks are lower than those of many legal drugs." A little marijuana, then let's try a bit of cocaine, move on to the heroin, and finish off the day with a spot of meth. Every hard time felon in prison today will say the same thing - "I started with using marijuana and when that didn't do anything for me I moved on to harder drugs. Marijuana is a killer ... look where it got me." No Steve, you keep thinking that the drug life is better than the clean and sober life. Sooner or later you'll get your just rewards. A cop slapping the cuffs on you. Unfortunately, I have had a daughter that went down that slimy path and was caught. She spent time in detention and drug rehab. She is clean now, and has been for two years, but the urge to go back to the filth of society to get high on drugs is still there. Just because making something legal and regulating it to only be sold to persons 21 or older doesn't mean that kids won't get their hands on it. How many 21-year-old supposed "responsible adults" will buy the junk and leave it laying around? Even if the marijuana initiative passes, it's still a federal crime to possess the crap. Didn't think of that did you? Phillip Beebe Carson City - --- MAP posted-by: Richard Lake
