PRICKS NIX DOOBS FOR SICKS

Freedom. It's important, as well we all know, to George W. Bush and
his administration. But not too much freedom, and not for naughty
foreigners-and especially bad is the freedom of sick Americans to puff
a doobie on their doctor's say-so. In a 6-3 decision handed down by
the U.S. Supreme Court on Monday, it was ruled that individual state
laws in favour of medical marijuana don't protect users from the
federal laws against weed. This case was an appeal by the always
delightful Bush administration of another case involving two sick
California women who puffed the MJ; at issue was whether the
prosecution of weed smokers under the federal Controlled Substances
Act (when some individual state laws allow medical marijuana) was, in
fact, constitutional. Apparently it is, so take that, sick people!
That'll show you, you sick bastards! Looks like being sick isn't so
fun after all now, eh?
