There is much hand-wringing and gnashing of teeth, but all the so-called experts in the world have accomplished exactly nothing toward eradicating the problem. With all the information that has been promulgated about the adverse legal, medical and social effects, people still either experiment with or continue to use illegal drugs. Now many of these mental midgets are making the stuff in their kitchens. All this garbage is creating nothing more than more problems for all responsible tax-paying citizens. Why should these good citizens be compelled to subsidize the problems caused by the illegal use of cretins? The answer is, they shouldn't. I have a cure for the entire world-wide problem. It will never be put to work, though, because it's too harsh. It would be cruel to the bottom-feeding dopes. It's a simple plan, though, and could be done at very little expense to the taxpayers. Police evidence lockers are full to overflowing with seized illegal narcotics. Use this readily available supply to give every captured user and/or dealer a massive overdose of their drug of choice. This would give the user/dealer what they're really looking for - one great big blast high. It would also prove to be fatal. There's the other part of this solution: dead people don't rob, steal or kill to obtain more drugs. Here's where the law of supply and demand comes in. The dead users or dealers don't need any more product. Those who aren't dead might possibly see the light and quit using. If they don't, then they will end up receiving the previously mentioned "hotshot." The end result? There's no more demand for the product. With no demand, there's no need for suppliers or producers. Voila! Problem solved! I realize that mine is not a politically-correct solution, and certainly won't meet the approval of liberal do-gooders, but what the heck. A lot of them are probably users and would suffer adverse effects from this type solution. Gee, that makes me feel bad! Business would sure pick up for a while for cemeteries and crematoriums, so this plan does have an up side, along with curing the drug problem. Just think; there would be some folks who would actually have to get a job or starve to death. Wow! FRED GRIFFIN Ozark - --- MAP posted-by: SHeath(DPFFlorida)
