POT AND DANDELIONS TYPIFY VICTORIA

After having read the TC for two years and having never yet had a
letter published in your paper, I am submitting my comments one more
time. On the front page of the TC on April 21, you have two stories
that I think pretty well typify Victoria.

One laments the appearance of dandelions downtown; the other reports
positively on pot smoking at Centennial Square.

Is this the image we wish to promote of our blighted city centre? For
most outsiders, this would be seen as a joke, albeit a bad one. I hope
to hear from other Victorians on this irony.
