POT SMOKER HURT BY COLUMNISTS VIEWS

This is in response to an article that was recently printed by Miss
Lonleyhearts labelled 'Stoner just don't think - At all'.

Writer-been-there-done-that proclaims to be a daily pot smoker
apparently born again.

Well good for you!

However there are far more out there that completely disagree with
your (Miss Lonelyhearts) slacker attitude of how smokers are perceived.

I myself am a daily smoker.

I have a full time job, lots of friends and maintain a fun, happy and
spontaneous relationship.

I go to the gym and spend quality time playing with my energetic
puppy.

If anything I need something to help me relax. Perhaps I could take
something in pill form prescribed by a doctor?

Lots of people take that road yet I prefer all natural thank you very
much.

I quote from the article in question when parents smoke pot -
"parents who aren't alert or energetic enough to take them anywhere,
make a fuss over bad behaviour, cook them a decent dinner, go to
school when the kids are in trouble, or get excited when the kids do
well."

I grew up in a house where I knew for as long as I can remember that
my parents smoked pot, although they did it discreetly.

My momma would cry if she read the terrible things that were just
implied about her.

We played, studied and laughed together, I got my fair share of
lickens and later quality speeches when I was bad as a child or needed
an attitude adjustment.

My family never missed a band recital or school ceremony because in
school I didn't get into trouble and my mom can cook or bake like the
dickens.

In short, don't judge me or my family for something that affected you
differently. That affects us and I'm sure many other just like me.

Some people are just lazy by nature.
