WHY NOT OUTSOURCE N.C. PRISONERS TO MEXICO?

The best thing this new drug commission in Asheville could do is become a
lobby to have two prisons built in Mexico. NAFTA, I am sure, would allow
this. One cell for each prisoner. Both maximum-security prisons.

The first prison would only have drug users in it and they would have to
serve at least one year or more to be cured of their drug habit.

The second prison would have drug dealers in it serving a term of 25 years,
no parole.

This prison would also have all prisoners in our state prisons who are
serving long terms to life sent there, and any prisoners that are causing
problems for the guards could also be sent there.

The state would not lay off any guards in the state prisons, as they would
still be needed, but would it ever save the state of N.C. a lot of money
housing long-term prisoners.

Like it or not, drug users need to be sent to prison to get over their
habits and cut the crime rate in this country.
