T-SHIRTS SUPPORT POT ACTIVIST

VANCOUVER (CNS) -- After Winona, Martha and Michael, you knew there
was no way of avoiding it: The T-shirt was inevitable.

And sure enough, just six days after the arrest of B.C. marijuana
activist Marc Emery, there it was on the Internet. At a cost of
between $13.50 to $20, supporters of the Prince of Pot can get their
pick of tees emblazoned with the phrase: "My Seed Supplier Was
Extradited To The USA And All I Got Was This Stupid T-shirt!"

Surprisingly though, the man behind the T-shirts has never even smoked
a joint. "I'm one of those people who've never even smoked a joint
because I don't really see a need for doing that," said 36-year-old
Nathan Rebney. "But I don't like the U.S. coming in and getting the
Vancouver police to do all their dirty work. So while I don't really
support Marc Emery, I don't like what's being done."

Emery was recently arrested and faces possible extradition to the
United States on charges of selling marijuana seeds.
