COMPASSION FOR POT SMOKERS

Re: Editorial, Aug. 2, "Pot prince sparks U.S. ire."

The United States is wrong, wrong, wrong for declaring war on marijuana users.

How could the country that used to pride itself on being free and
democratic arrest innocent people for smoking a plant?

Is is because the drug companies are afraid of losing customers who use
Prozac and other antipsychotic drugs?

America really needs to clean up its act because it has gone too far with
the human-rights abuses.

The United States is losing the world's respect at a rapid rate and it is
time we acted "compassionately" toward marijuana smokers.
