SANITY ON POT FILE

Thanks once again to John Gleeson for his sensible appraisal of the Marc 
Emery arrest (Freakin' outrage over Emery bust, Aug. 4).

It is comforting to know that, in spite of the backward and damaging drug 
policies on both sides of the border, there is still a majority of ordinary 
people who want some sanity brought to the marijuana issue. May we, as 
Canadians, never allow our law enforcement to be dictated by the ignorant 
prejudices of a hostile and arrogant foreign power.
