LEGALIZATION BETTER IDEA THAN DRUG COURT

Regarding "Drug courts are a good investment for state" (July 23): Our 
grandparents must have been a lot smarter than we are. They didn't waste 
time setting up alcohol courts when they realized that prohibiting alcohol 
was causing more harm than good. They simply ended alcohol prohibition.

We should do likewise because the best way of reducing the harm and 
heartbreak inflicted by illegal drugs on users and nonusers alike is to end 
drug prohibition.
