MARIJUANA GROW OPS GROWING IN NORTHERN ONTARIO

Cochrane Times Post -- Not too long ago Marijuana grow ops were being
busted in the Barrie vicinity. Now with the summer upon us, it appears as
though the marijuana cultivators are eyeing the North.

The large seizure in Iroquois Falls makes me wonder, what are you growing
in your back yard?

It never ceases to amaze me what people will actually try and get away
with. Maybe there are some who are actually growing it in their homes. Who
is to know if you have a marijuana plant or a herb growing, they all look
about the same.

Since the government permitted those suffering from serious medical
problems to indulge in the use of marijuana there seems to have been an
increase in grow ops throughout the province.

Will this be the new rage? An opportunity to become an entrepreneur as a
supplier for medicinal purposes?

It appears that the government should be taking some responsibility for
this as they are the ones who have approved the use of marijuana and in a
sense are admitting that its use is alright.

These growers, although the most recent ones caught are of Asian background
seem to be appearing all over the province. Are they coming with their own
seeds from another part of the world? Do they think that Canada is not as
harsh with charges as other countries?

If this is so, perhaps a good look at the consequences for those trying to
grow would be in order.

Whatever the case may be, Marijuana grow ops are definitely on the rise not
only in southern Ontario but in the North as well. So watch what you plant
and where you plant it. Someone may be watching!
